Job Description
- Thoroughly clean and polish glasses to ensure a pristine presentation for drinks.
- Maintain a clean and tidy bar area to uphold high hygiene standards.
- Assist with preparation tasks to streamline the efficiency of the bar service.
- Regularly check and replenish ice levels; ensure an ample supply of mixers for smooth operations.
- Efficiently take customer orders, providing attentive and friendly service.
- Complete closing procedures, including settling bills and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Set up the bar for service, ensuring all necessary items are in place. Similarly, close the bar efficiently at the end of the day.
- Organize bottles and glasses in a manner that supports efficient drink preparation and enhances beverage promotions.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and customers.
- Work closely with the manager to facilitate the efficient operation of the bar on a daily basis.
- Other ad-hoc duty as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of beverage recipes, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food and beverage industry.
