Job Description:
- Able to implement approved patches/releases deployment accordingly to Change Request
- Able to maintain network and system security included cybersecurity advisories
- Able to perform installation and configuration of systems and application software
- Able to perform scheduled maintenance for servers, workstations, switches, routers, networks appliances in UAT, DR and Production Environment
- Able to perform server patch management
- Able to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software related issue
- Diagnose and troubleshoot VSAT system symptoms and information with computer software and test equipment
- Interpret troubleshooting results and determine best course of action to restore VSAT system
- Install new VSAT equipment and upgrade components or systems, preferably with C-band and Extended C-band equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance for VSAT system
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experienced with IT maintenance and support.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT field, with background in IT maintenance and support
- Familiar with Symantec EndPoint Protection, Windows Server, RHEL 7, MSSQL Server, VMWare ESXi 6.7
- Familiar with SendQuick or other SMS gateways, SOPHOs or other email forwarding application
- Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting switched and routed networks
- Knowledge of basic Linux commands will be preferred
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Required to perform 24/7 offsite standby duty (bi-weekly engineering support)
