On behalf of one of its clients, a leading specialist in gas logistics, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Maintenance technician.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work independently as part of a dynamic and supportive team. As part of an international group, you will be able to develop locally or internationally.
As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for the following main tasks:
- Analyze incidents and perform maintenance operations to ensure fleet functionality.
- Duplicate procedures in Asia, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Prepare and send reports, demonstrating the ability to analyze and provide insights.
- Assume responsibility for fleet quality and adherence to group technical procedures.
- Coordinate with local service providers to facilitate maintenance activities.
- Make decisions regarding level 2 maintenance tasks.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and sensitive equipment, such as GPS devices.
- Oversee gas loading procedures in Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide support to teams during the opening of new sources.
- Participate in training sessions held in Europe to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements :
- 3/5 years' experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a logistics or industrial setting
- technical or general mechanics background, Commitment to upholding technical procedures and ensuring fleet quality.
- Knowledge of gas loading procedures and safety regulations is desirable
- Proficient in generating and interpreting reports to drive informed decision-making
- Training in welding is recommended.
- Fluent English is required, Malaysian would be a plus to liaise with the team and the clients.
