We are looking for a talented General Manager, Operations to join our team in Tuas South, Singapore, as part of Singapore’ senior leadership team. This role will be Onsite, and it is required travelling within Singapore.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Develops and implements operational strategies aligned with organizational goals through the customer service and field service managers.
  • Engages and collaborates with the various business segments and functions leaders to align on the country’s strategic initiatives to develop shared objectives and resolve cross-functional challenges that may impact organizational success.
  • Set challenging goals and manages the business towards the Annual Operating Plan, monitors the branch’s balanced scorecards, profit and loss and asset metrics.
  • Implements operating policies and procedures across multiple functional areas including customer service, service operations, finance, quality control, purchasing, Inventory management, and human resources.
  • Focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring operational excellence and addressing customer concerns.
  • Drives strategic projects and initiatives for continuous improvement and to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Manages compliance with Health, Safety and Environment standards and audits.
  • Develops and motivates people managers. Set challenging work plans and individual development plans, building high-functioning teams, aligned to Cummins’ Values.
  • Develops a deep understanding of all of Cummins’ businesses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or related field required. Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required.
  • Significant relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.
  • Engages and collaborates with the various business segments and functions leaders to align on the country's strategic initiatives to develop shared objectives and resolve cross-functional challenges that may impact organizational success.
