Scope
The primary task of the Technical Support Engineer is to support the Technical Manager in rendering product and application-related technical assistance and support to internal and external customers. You will be working closely with the front-line team and will be involved in the development, implementation, organization, maintenance, and update of all technical-related matters. You will also be carrying out the day-to-day duties of the QC/QA lab. The Technical Support Engineer is expected to be a team player and someone who is committed.
Responsibilities (including, but not restricted to)
· Comply, execute, maintain & update QA/QC processes.
· Ensure that QA/QC Department meets external and internal audit requirements.
· Support in the development, implementation, organization, and update of technical-related materials.
· Identify, analyze, investigate, propose, and resolve technical and quality issues.
· Conduct root cause analysis, control, and review measures.
· Set clear objectives, evaluate progress, and instill a high-performance culture with a focus on teamwork, service excellence, and ownership for resolving customer issues.
· Develop technical training content for internal & external customers.
· Ensure high-quality, up-to-date documentation process
· Conduct scheduled audits on existing suppliers.
· Conduct new audits to approve and qualify new suppliers.
· Quality assurance on supplier compliance to internal QA/QC standards.
· Communicate and coordinate with all testing parties.
· Continuously learn about market and competitor product development and performance requirements providing input and tactical direction to the business on technical support and services.
· Ability to translate technical information into marketing lingo, challenging the norm.
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years experience in engineering
· Diploma in relevant engineering faculty
· Strong market research skills, highly analytical, highly detailed, and an academic
· Committed, hardworking, and able to rough it out
· Self-motivated, proactive, and highly independent
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at the global level
Location: Woodlands Close (Singapore - Near Admiralty MRT)
5 days of Work (Monday – Friday 9 am to 6 pm)
Salary Range: SGD2800 to SGD4800
