Job scope:
- Assist Plant Engineering Manager on daily engineering operations relating to mechanical and electrical engineering in building and projects.
- Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Ensure alignment of mechanical and electrical components within overall project objectives.
- Design and Engineering: Review and study the design and engineering efforts for mechanical and electrical systems. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform design decisions. Oversee the preparation of technical drawings and specifications.
- Project Execution and Monitoring: Assist Manager for the procurement and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Quality Control: Assist Manager in Implementing quality control measures to ensure the performance and safety of installed systems. Conduct inspections and testing to verify compliance with industry standards. Address any deviations from project specifications promptly.
- Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, contractors, and team members. Foster collaboration between mechanical and electrical teams to achieve project goals. Provide regular project updates to relevant stakeholders.
- CIP Project: Assist in CIP project to achieve Departmental KPI.
- Review and implement cost control measures and monitor Department Key Performance Indicator
- Liaise and work with contractors and suppliers on major tasks or projects for on schedule completion
- Observe and comply with the Company's safety and health system, safe work procedures and instructions, as well as safety policy and rules.
Requirement:
- Proven experience in managing mechanical and electrical engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Project management certification is a plus.
