1.BIM Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership in implementing BIM processes and standards across the team. The Area BIM Lead is reporting to the Area Lead and the MSO BIM Lead
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
2.Multi-Disciplinary Coordination:
- Able to handle Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) meetings which are Internal and federated model to work collectively and in parallel to resolve identified design and construction issues instantly using BIM models and to mitigate the latency in decision making and responses.
- Using Navisworks to generate the Clash Detection Report and Bim Collab to enhance the report progress.
- To review and validate the models created by different disciplines to ensure they are clash-free, accurate, and compliant with project requirement
- Lead the coordination efforts among diverse engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes.
- Conduct regular interdisciplinary coordination meetings to address complex design and construction challenges.
- Resolve clashes and conflicts in BIM models and facilitate coordination meetings using federated models and bcf issues (BIM Collab).
- Maintain records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, etc. in accordance with the project standards and procedures
3.Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce BIM quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of project models.
- Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to identify and resolve issues promptly.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication among all disciplines involved in the engineering JV.
- Work closely with Area Lead, Discipline Leads, BIM Lead, MSO BIM Lead, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of BIM processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years’ experience in an engineering or construction company having successfully completed BIM production or coordination for at least 2 projects
- Extensive experience in BIM coordination within the engineering sector on major infrastructure project
- Proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM Collab).
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to BIM.
- Certifications in BIM or related fields are desirable.
