- Overseeing the company's project performance, which includes achieving operational KPIs and collaborating with internal Project Managers.
- Compiling quarterly reports for periodic review and effectively communicating outcomes and status to various stakeholders.
- Playing a pivotal role in monitoring, analyzing, and projecting project costs for both the project team and management.
- Actively participating in budgeting and forecasting procedures, overseeing project forecasts and actual figures, and addressing monthly variances.
- Coordinating with external auditors for statutory and interim audits.
- Offering insights into project Work in Progress (WIP), collections, risks, opportunities, and cash flow.
- Engaging in the continuous improvement of project management and reporting processes through reviews and recommendations.
- Presenting updated financial data and actively participating in project management meetings to assess cost status.
- Reviewing and providing accurate responses to project payment inquiries and invoices for processing.
- Undertaking any necessary ad-hoc responsibilities as they arise.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or a similar recognized professional qualification is required.
- Candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant experience, with a preference for prior exposure to accounting for construction contracts.
