The opportunity

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a vital part of a leading force in the pharmaceutical industry? Teva is seeking a dedicated Tender Account Administrator to join our team and make a meaningful impact.

In this role, you will be responsible in producing quality tender submissions, tailored to the requirements of each individual customer, producing the best possible bid for the company and to carry out research, gather business intelligence, update records, maintain detailed information, assist in business analytic and communicate critical information effectively with cross functional staffs and senior members of staff to prepare for winning profitable bids and mitigate risks.

How you’ll spend your day

Documentation Management

  • Efficiently handle and organize all tender-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
  • Visit and engage buyers to provide updates on company’s development and new products, understand buyers’ developments including changes in policies and buying trends.

Client communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding tender inquiries and documentation requirements.
  • Foster positive and lasting relationships with clients through effective communication and responsiveness.

Database Maintenance

  • Update and maintain tender-related information in the database for easy retrieval and analysis.
  • Generate reports on tender status, document expiration, and other key metrics.
  • Compile and manage all pricing documentation and any other associated documentation required in line with the tendering process.
  • Maintain monthly demand forecast based on awarded contracts.

Process improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the tender administration process.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement improvements and ensure efficiency.
  • Assist Manager in preparing business cases for future tenders.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Degree graduate in pharmaceutical, nursing, bioscience, nutrition, business administration would be an advantage
  • +2 years’ experience in administering tender submission and contract fulfilment of pharmaceutical product supplies to hospitals and medical groups, or in pharmaceutical product procurement in hospitals and major medical groups
  • Familiar with General Procurement Office pharmaceutical products procurement procedure
  • Good understanding of contract law
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel (pivot table), PowerPoint
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Excelnt customer service and interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with clients and to manage internal organization
