Job Functions & Summary:

  • Assist to oversee and drive the Food & Beverage functions to be a trusted partner with the other business units to deliver valued financial advice and support .
  • Ensure that the resources are optimally allocated and utilized efficiently and cost effectively to carry out its functions, at the same time ensuring practice of good corporate governance.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the business strategy by developing and implementing short to long term business plans in line with the Company’s F&B overall goals and objectives.
  • Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies on all the Company’s F&B business development and projects activities.
  • Consolidate financial and management reports of the business for Senior Management monthly reviews.
  • Oversee that the annual budget and forecast are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Review and analyse operational matters such as labour utilization and productivity analysis and advise the Senior Management on the financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Review, evaluate and ensure validity of all business transactions proposed by the Senior Management.
  • Review, establish and implement sound F&B policies, systems and procedures for the Company to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and good corporate governance.
  • Monitor actual performances against targeted performances of functional groups and highlight variances to Senior Management.
  • Establish an operational analysis system to ensure business continuity and viability based in market trends and development under the prevailing competitive market both locally and globally.
  • Review periodical F&B promotional and marketing plans and strategies; products; menus and pricings.
  • Any other duties that might be assigned from time to time.
