With increased demand for new housing and ramping up in public housing scheme, a pilot project is organized at IKEA to explore strategies to capture market share through Home Design Services.
We want to fill this position with a pro active enthusiast in sales who can support us in securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people.”
Your assignment
- You will be mapping the market potential for home design services in public and private residential projects.
- You will measure the effectiveness of service offering and sales capturing process, recommend suggestions on how to maximize sales potential and profitability.
- You will observe the selling process and finetune improvements together with project selling team.
- You will understand the logistical and operational workflows and recommend measurable improvements.
- You will be working in a project workgroup setting and will be exposed to a series of commercial and operative tasks including onsite visits.
- You will regularly prepare the progress reports and present to the relevant stakeholders.
Your profile
- You have a passion for home furnishings, sales and doing the best for our customers.
- You are resourceful, able to prioritise and structure your own work, detail-oriented and possess excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and project management skills.
- You come with experience in retail, understand e-commerce and are familiar with the IKEA product range.
