Responsibilities:
- Plan and assign daily work schedule for technicians.
- Train or coach technicians on administrative or technical processes and procedures.
- Develop training plan for technicians to meet production demands.
- Resolves production issues and escalates those that require management attention.
- Accountable to ensure technicians safety and commitment to quality.
- Conduct performance review and formal performance/career development discussions with technicians.
- Monitor Production metric and develop continuous improvement plan through process improvement.
- Maintain shopfloor floor stock inventory.
- Drive technician commitment to 5S requirement.
- Ensure production order flow is uninterrupted and escalation when showstopper arises.
Requirement
- Minimum Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
- Min 5 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding of LEAN Six Sigma.
- Leadership experience in managing technicians is preferred.
- Experience in assembly and testing processes is preferred.
- Experience in SAP is preferred.
- Experience in artificial lift will be an added advantage.
