As part of Barry Callebaut's team, you will drive the agenda of Operational Excellence organization to improve Company's culture and performance, which leads to long-term sustainable growth and our Go4Zero strategy. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end cocoa activities for Asia Pacific and oversee the full operational and logistics budget, CAPEX management, and all related business projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- working in close collaboration with the APAC Supply Chain and Commercial leaders , in order to pursue our strategic and commercial goals, as seamlessly and effectively as possible.
- working in close collaboration with the peers in supporting functions: HR, Finance, R&D, QA, Procurement, in order to build an environment of mutual collaboration and achieve business goals.
- overseeing, monitoring, and evaluating the sites' performance.
- directing the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources .
- analyzing and approving operational investments that best meet the organization's business needs.
- leading, guiding, evaluating, and developing a strong team with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves its business objectives and a sustainable pipeline of succession.
To be successful, the pre-requisites for this role include:
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Operations, Engineering or similar
- At least 10+ years of experience in an Operations Management position within the food industry or related industries
- Experience in Project Management and Leadership
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry
- Knowledgeable in SAP, Google Suite and MS Office Suite
- Proficient in written and spoken English. Proficiency in another Asian language will be advantageous.
