The Senior M&E Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of all M&E works at site in a timely manner. This role is pipelining for a future project and may require the suitable candidate to be part of tender support prior to joining a project.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Liaise with authorities, consultants design consultant on the design intent
- Coordinate and supervise all System Wide Contractor (SWC) and Domestic Sub Contractor (DSC) activities
- Check and make sample with shop drawing submission
- Monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with requirements
- Supervise and ensure ongoing works on site are on track according to construction schedule
- Prepare M&E Combined Service Drawings (CSD) and Structural/ Electrical & Mechanical (SEM) drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance
- Prepare/ assist MEP progress claim and variation order (VO) submission
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace

- Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) concept
- Ability to manage and solve complex problems at site
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical & Electrical services for construction of large scale building/civil projects.
- Understand contract requirement and M&E specification
- Understand BIM concept and be able to supervise BIM Operator/ Technician’s daily job scope
