1. Lead the MEP design development and coordination meetings.
2. Review and coordinate design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
3. Perform and implement value engineering proposals on the design.
4. Control and guide all MEP subordinates, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
5. Handle all submittals including shop drawings, material & systems, method statements.
6. Interface management with the client and consultant representatives, local authorities, and interface contractors.
7. Monitor the site progress and lead the construction team to ensure proper implementation on site in compliance with project schedule, quality standards, codes and local regulations.
8. Identifying bottlenecks, resolving technical problems in design and construction.
9. Resolve all correspondences related to the MEP discipline.
10. Resolve the Engineer’s Instructions issued by the client and related variations.
11. To coordinate between MEP disciplines and all other project disciplines.
12. Guide the QA/QC MEP team for proper installations & material inspections.
13. Handle testing, commissioning, start up and handing over to the client.
14. Implementing Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).
15. Perform and implement value engineering proposals on the design.
16. Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
17. To ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
18. Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
19. Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations if necessary
20. Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
21. Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers if necessary
22. Conduct M&E coordination meeting & site walk with subcontractors, consultants and client.
23. Plan and ensure works in accord with Master Programme and micro-schedule
