Job Description
· Understand and comply with procedures and policies pertaining to EH&S and time recording
· Understand and comply with company Human Resources procedures and policies pertaining to vacation, medical leave, etc.
· Support Rotary Wing Maintenance Manager, Rotary Wing Avionics Aircraft Engineer and facility DOM with any appropriate assigned tasks in a safe, complete and timely manner.
· Provide clear and immediate advisory to appropriate personnel whatever any safety issues are observed or experienced
· Able to carry our modification, servicing, maintenance and repair of Aircraft Electrical, Instrument and Avionics system in accordance with approved maintenance data and engineering drawing.
· Assist Rotary Wing Avionics Aircraft Engineer in carry our operational/functional test, trouble shooting and defect rectification
· Carry our wiring and electrical component replacement, fabrication of wire harness for wiring modification, aircraft battery charging and servicing.
· Assist Rotary Wing Avionics Aircraft Engineer in ensuring that the tools and test equipment used are properly maintained, calibrated and correct for particular work tasks.
· Familiar with common avionics tooling.
· Ability to work independently.
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience with general, commercial and/or military aircraft.
Skills/Certification
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components, reading schematics and installation drawings, ability to work closely with Supervisor and follow through on directions regarding assigned tasks.
Preferred
2 years Appropriate Trade or Polytechnic School, Military Schooling, CAAS B1.3 License, FAA A&P, rotary wing maintenance experience.
