Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Community Management role located in Singapore. The Community Manager will be responsible for engaging with audiences across different social media and messaging platforms on a daily basis with a focus on Discord.
Qualifications
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathy and conflict resolution
· Experience with Discord server management and a deep understanding of Discord functionalities and best practices
· Experience in community engagement and management
· Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
· Knowledge of social media platforms and messaging tools
· Familiarity with moderation tools and best practices
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in the gaming or esports industry is a plus
· Ability to speak Japanese or Korean fluently
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Discord server to foster a positive, inclusive, and creative environment
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase user participation, contribution, and overall community satisfaction
- Monitor and manage community interactions, promptly addressing inquiries, comments, and concerns
- Organize and host creative events and other community-building activities
- Enforce community guidelines and policies, addressing and resolving conflicts and ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
- Analyze community engagement metrics and KPIs, producing regular reports and insights to aid in the development of community growth and engagement strategies
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging platforms, and community management best practices to ensure the community’s continuous improvement and growth
