Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor who is a collaborative team player and will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to source and recruit the best candidates for open positions. The Senior TA Advisor will be involved in key recruiting projects and initiatives which contribute to the continued growth of the organization.

As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, he/she will be a brand ambassador and will be responsible for implementing the marketing and candidate outreach strategies. He/she will be responsible for cultivating candidate engagement externally and internally through social media, job fairs and hiring events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and selection of internal and external candidates.
  • Work with hiring manager to identify appropriate recruitment strategies including cost and time effective recruitment campaigns, ensuring job requirements are well defined, screening and selecting resumes, interviewing, and evaluating candidates, conducting references and due diligence to prospective hires and providing candidate selection and salary recommendations to hiring managers as well as conducting verbal and written offers to candidates.
  • Building and delivering hiring strategies to build a diverse pipeline of candidates through sourcing channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter. Managing candidate pipelines and talent pools. OR
  • Develops sourcing strategies including creating external networks to proactively search passive candidates. OR
  • Source candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, etc.)
  • Provide internal clients expert advice with respect to a variety of recruitment related matters such as recommended interview questions and practices, equitable hiring practices, and candidate evaluation and selection.
  • Leverage databases (i.e. Taleo, LinkedIn) to do searches and adhering to work flow processes.
  • Ensuring that data and metrics are kept current for purposes of reports. OR
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment data and records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Relationship builder and collaborator with hiring leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Create and own a flawlessly positive candidate experience.
  • Leading and contributing to process improvement projects across Talent Acquisition and within broader HR team.
  • Establishing connections, maintaining and leveraging a professional online and social media presence, and prospecting top talent through your network.
  • Be an ambassador to EDC, sharing our values and drive brand awareness in the market.
  • Coordinates and implements talent acquisition marketing activities including internal/external candidate engagement, maintaining and increasing Singapore EDC social media presence.
  • Identifies, schedules and attends career fairs and hiring events

Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in Human Resources
  • 7+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition
  • 5+ years of headhunting or direct source recruiting
  • Proven interviewing skills, including experience with behavioural based interviewing techniques.
  • Strong working knowledge of using LinkedIn Recruiter, Taleo or other applicant tracking databases.
  • Strong sourcing skills and a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates and building a diverse pipeline.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced matrix environment, always being responsive, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proven experience as an independent, resourceful self-starter with excellent judgment.
  • Knowledge of employment branding technics and activities
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to design and manage social marketing campaigns via various social media sources.
  • Willing to work flexible hours to meet challenging and changing deadlines.

Assets

  • Bilingual in both official languages (English and French) as well as any other Asian languages.
  • International recruitment experience.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment market and labor laws.
