At least 15 years of experience in IT Department, of which at least 5 years must be at Management Level.
Job Description:
- To plan and execute corporate ICT strategies in the Asia-Pacific region and support each country offices, representative offices, and group companies, that will support the sustaining growth of Sumitomo Corporation Group liaising with IT in Tokyo Headquater Offices (Some are non-English speakers) in mostly Japanese.
- To have a deep understanding of Global company management policy and the issues in the region, to constantly question the current situation, and in addition to steadily implementing global measures, to come up with effective measures unique to the region.
- Broadly coordinate interests with all in-house organizations (corporate divisions, sales divisions), each country offices and representative offices, and group companies, Tokyo-related departments, and SC Group partners occurs.
- With a focus on regional measures based on global measures, we carefully examine the necessity of various requirements from each country offices and representative offices, and group companies, select commonalities and individualities, and plan the proper management resources (human resources, things, and money) through dialogue with management.
- As a manager, he has the responsibility for evaluating his subordinates and is also for their guidance and development for them
Requirement:
- At least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
- Comprehensive and deep understanding, knowledge on general ICT & Digital Transformation in a certain country.
- More than 10 years experience in IT, including formulating IT strategy/initiative, managing implementation and maintenance ICT systems, and consulting other companies for various ICT matters
- Having General ICT knowledge and experience, this implementation requires a continuous grasp of ICT trends, planning ability, partner scrutiny and negotiation, and project promotion ability.
- More than 5 years experience in managing staffs
- High proficiency in Japanese and English (both writing and speaking) to effectively communicate with counterparts in Headquarter in Japan, and offices in the region.
- Deep understanding of the Japanese Trading House's business development and investments.
