Responsibilities:
- Provide air, sea, warehousing and logistics quotations to customers and overseas agents
- Obtain and negotiate cost from carriers and suppliers
- Attend to overseas agent enquiries & office accounts
- Liaise with customers/carriers/transporters/hauliers/forwarders/agents to execute import and export shipments (sea/air/land)
- Arrange bookings from carriers/co-loaders/air co-loaders
- Maintain and update monthly rates/ sailing schedules
- Attend to walk in enquires
- Ensure customer’s orders are processed in a timely and accurately manner
- Provide customer support whenever required and maintain good relationship with customers
- Work closely with the Sales and Operations team
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the HOD
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum Diploma and above in a relevant discipline
- Possess a minimum of 3 years working experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge in Sysfreight is an advantage
- Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft office
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, hardworking and a good team player
- Possess good time management
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to multi-task
- Willing to take on different job roles and responsibilities
- Sales oriented and possess the desire to achieve sales target
