Customer Service Executive

Megaton Shipping Pte Ltd

Responsibilities:

  • Provide air, sea, warehousing and logistics quotations to customers and overseas agents
  • Obtain and negotiate cost from carriers and suppliers
  • Attend to overseas agent enquiries & office accounts
  • Liaise with customers/carriers/transporters/hauliers/forwarders/agents to execute import and export shipments (sea/air/land)
  • Arrange bookings from carriers/co-loaders/air co-loaders
  • Maintain and update monthly rates/ sailing schedules
  • Attend to walk in enquires
  • Ensure customer’s orders are processed in a timely and accurately manner
  • Provide customer support whenever required and maintain good relationship with customers
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations team
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the HOD

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum Diploma and above in a relevant discipline
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years working experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry
  • Knowledge in Sysfreight is an advantage
  • Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive, hardworking and a good team player
  • Possess good time management
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Willing to take on different job roles and responsibilities
  • Sales oriented and possess the desire to achieve sales target
