Reporting to Hub Engineering Manager, the Facility Technician supports M&E Facility Management Works of the premises.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) for status and alarms.
- Attend to the fault equipment alarm for verification.
- Call to vendor for emergency checking if necessary and report status to the team.
- Routine site patrol for M&E systems and direct vendor for work during their visit.
- Ensure all SLA between external vendors/suppliers and ISS or customer are met.
- Assist in coordinating and executing various types of improvement works eg A&A, renovation, defect rectifications and etc.
- Self deliver on monthly light M&E testing and servicing such as FCU filter and drainage pipe cleaning, Genset start up & Chillers Start up.
- Assist Facility team to manage all facility related matters as well as meeting the expectations of customers and users, ensure that all the services provided excel in performance standards and meet all customers’ expectations
- Facilitate effective and timely communication among ISS, customers and users for all events and projects eg Townhall, meeting.
- Catalogue and keep track of customers’ property such as M&E assets.
- Monitor all general supervision and control of organized events and comply with the Health, Safety & Environment regulations, practices, procedures and welfare of the people.
- Ensure timely & accurate submission of all M&E management reports required by ISS and customers.
- Ensure the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company at all times.
- Assist to monitor suppliers to ensure best value obtained. Ensure monthly invoices are submitted and processed on time.
- Take all the necessary actions and precautions to ensure there is no employment of illegal foreign workers on site at all times.
- Inform Service Delivery Manager or Hub Engineering Manager of any operational or financial possible liabilities or risks arising from our services.
- Develop programmes to improve service quality processes, procedures and outcomes.
- Undertake any duties/projects, etc. as and instructed by the Superior.
Job Requirements:
- Singaporeans only
- Minimum education GCE O Levels or NITEC and above
- Able to commit to 12-hour rotating shift
- At least 2-years experience of facility/engineering technician or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Good communication skills in English (spoken & written)
- Good working knowledge of building M&E system such as electrical system, MVAC system, fire system, P&D system and BMS is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Applicants with the following experience/certificate are highly desired:
- 2-year experience working in data centre or bank environment
- M&E related certificates
- Certificate of Managing Work-At-Height Course
- Certificate of Develop A Risk Management Implementation Plan (BizSAFE Level 2)
Work Location and details:
- Location: Marina Bay Financial Centre
- Work Hours: 4 days work week, weekly 12-hour rotating shift including weekend & PH
- A Shift: 7.30am to 7.30pm
- B Shift: 7.30pm to 7.30am
