Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create and modify AutoCAD(3D) drawings for submission and comply to specified criteria and standards.
- Prepare drawings accurately from oral instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for project submission.
- Maintain, update and make amendments to drawings as needed.
- Assist in compilation of as-built drawings, documents, operation/user manuals, etc.
- Handle and responsible of documents submissions to clients.
- Must be willing to go for site visit
- Assist Project Managers/Directors-related documentation and administration.
- Prepare necessary quotations.
- Take out quantities from drawings.
- Selecting and/or sourcing of construction materials.
- Liaise with owner, developers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Prepare contract documents, tender pricing and document cost estimation, planning and quantity take off.
- Sourcing for quotations from specialists, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Pre-tender and tender duties.
- Tabulate quantities, estimate cost and request for quotation.
- Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
- Responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time. Follow instructions clearly.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Computer skills – Microsoft office skill (Excel, Words, Powerpoint etc.)
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Independent, resourceful, pro-active and responsible
- Must be team player
- Well verse in communication via emails and phone calls
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skill
- Able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Sound knowledge of construction sequences and material trends
- Relevant working experience in the construction sector
- Able to do site visit or checking when needed
