Job Purpose
This position reports to the Operations Director (OD). Candidate must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Primarily job responsibility is to ensure works are carried out safely and timely in accordance with contract requirements and specifications, which includes managing 24X7 calls, sub-contractors, working teams, providing training, and mentoring of junior team members as well.
Key Responsibilities
Technical:
- Plan and responsible for day-to-day success of project execution and management of the construction process within budget, meet contractual and safety requirements.
- Lead the project team, ie Quantity Surveyor, sub-contractor,etc to ensure timely delivery of project within budget, quality including defining clear roles and responsibilities.
- Review all needful documents like drawing, BOQ, method statement, safety documents etc including maintaining documentation and records
- Establishes project execution plan in conjunction with the Operations Director
- Conduct all risk management and oversee all HSE checks, reports and incidents
- Submit weekly progress report, update any site work etc
- Installation/ replacement/ repair works of pumps, control panels, plumbing and sanitary works.
- Be proactive, share technical knowledge and experience with team for improvement.
- Assist Management with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.
Administration:
· Produce accurate reporting to OD
· Assists OD in verifying monthly progress claims etc
· Manage all information in relation to project including labour, material, and sub-contractor
· Assist OD with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.
· Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals
· Ensure supervisors & workers meet client & regulatory requirements
· Carry out short-term planning to meet site progress

Skill Requirements
· Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics) with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
· Class 3/3A Driving license is a must
· Preferably possess BIZSAFE Risk Management.
· Skills proficient in AutoCAD, and MSOffice.
· Good analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
· Good comprehension of engineering literature and specifications
· Strong passion and willingness to work hard to overcome engineering challenge
