Our client is a well established Pharmaceuticals MNC and they are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Executive/Senior Executive to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager you will be leading a team, managing transactional accounting functions such as payables, receivables, and stock accounting, including fixed asset management and sundry payables. You will also be assisting in resolving complex accounting issues, overseeing monthly intercompany billings, and following up on receivables. Other responsibilities will include prompt reconciliation of trade payables and inventory clearing accounts, conducting month-end activities and reconciliations, and preparing monthly reports including balance sheet schedules and cost center reports. Additionally you will be recommending changes to enhance accounting processes and procedures. The ideal candidate is one who is a people person, adaptable and resilient given the fast-paced environment.
Skills and experience required
You should possess a recognised degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with prior team management experience will be highly advantageous.
