About The Opportunity

As a member of the Technology Pillar, the regional Mid-Back Office System Analyst will take full responsibility for managing the mid-back office system.

Drawing upon comprehensive knowledge in both Technology and Finance, the incumbent will administer and oversee system behaviour, focusing on process improvement and operational efficiency. This position will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), controlling system processes and ways of use to adhere to the “One Best Way”.

The role necessitates cross functional collaboration, requiring adept communication and presentational skills. Given the fast-paced nature of the environment, effective planning and multitasking abilities are imperative.

This position offers exposure to global projects and cross-office collaboration within the FCM network. The role will act as a key member representing the Asia in any global mid-back systems projects which offers plenty of opportunities to work with FCM from around the globe.


Key duties & responsibilities:

Manage finance middle-office and back-office systems

  • Configure, maintain, and administer the mid office and back-office systems
  • Evaluate and manage user development requests to implementation
  • Review the usage of the system and user processes to ensure a continuous optimisation of workflows in accordance to changing market needs
  • Act as Project Manager for any major system upgrades or migration exercises

Ensure consistency and standardisation of business and system processes

  • Develop and update user process documentation in the local language
  • Provide trainings to new users of the finance systems to ensure compliance to documented workflows

Optimise workflows and business systems usage

  • Map out the post-booking process workflows, review, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with various areas of the business, including Operations, Finance, Taxation, Regulatory and Technology ensuring the systems operate effectively, efficiently in a compliant manner

System Support

  • Provide systems support relating to issues and questions
  • Provide prompt resolution in line with agreed process for any invoice-related queries

Credit card handoffs

  • Manage the submission of credit card enhanced data files
  • Own the payment process flow and act as local support for any payment gateway-related issues
  • Provide support for real time authorisation

Customer Finance Reporting

  • Prepare and manage the finance reporting process for customers
  • Work with the respective Account Managers to ensure a timely delivery of accurate reporting as agreed with the customers


We’d love to hear from you if you have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management or equivalent in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar operations/finance systems
  • An understanding of technology, travel, and finance systems
  • Experience implementing and maintaining finance systems
  • Knowledge of travel industry
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong self-management and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills; great patience and positivity in supporting users to resolve issues
  • Proven ability to develop product and effectively communicate recommendations to key stakeholders
