The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow.
A Senior Research Fellow position is available at the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Nanyang Technological University of Singapore for a swarm robotic project. We are seeking potential researchers in the area of localization and sensor fusion, especially applications of UWB together with other sensors such as camera in localizing the robotic swarm. Enthusiastic and self-motivated research candidates with strong publication record and research profile are welcome to apply.
The Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for undertaking in-depth research in the swarm robotic localization solution, and they should also ensure the solution can be implemented and demonstrated in real life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new state-of-the-art localization and sensor fusion algorithms for robotic swarm system.
- Implement and conduct experiment to evaluate the performance in real life environment.
- Integrate solution with other work packages.
- Publish high-quality research papers with research outcomes in top-tier international journals and conferences.
Job Requirements:
- The candidate should have a PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with strong publication record in relevant areas are encouraged to apply.
- A thorough knowledge of the research field of localization and sensor fusion is highly preferred.
- Experienced in using UWB and Camera.
- Experienced in ROS.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills in English.
