Job Description
- Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements.
- Ensure Risk Assessment are carried out for all work activities and the control measures are implemented.
- Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
- Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
- Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection.
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
- Assist the Safety Officer/Manager on the ISO audit document preparation.
- Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations.
- Identify WSH hazards, recommend and implement control measures
- Investigate and report WSH all incidents and near misses.
- To assist with safety program implementation at workplace.
- To ensure all HSE related safety equipment and PPE are in order and properly maintained.
- Carry out other Safety related function/duties and processes as directed by Safety Officer/Manager or Project Manager in charge at site.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum WSQ advance certificate in WSH or Safety Coordinator training
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in WSH capacity, preferably in Construction, Marine, Process and Engineering Sector
- Certified Occupational First Aider
- Responsible and with a good attitude
- A team player and able to work independently
- Self-motivated, able to multitask
- Detailed orientated
- Good knowledge of local industry
- Required to work on weekends and extended hours during project peak period
- Willing to travel / work in Jurong / Jurong Island / Bukom Island and willing for regular swab test
