Principal Responsibilities
- Accountable for compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality and relevant industry standards.
- Responsible for the maintenance of Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer in the plant
- Responsible for trouble shooting the plant Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer issues
- Accountable for supporting the MOC process
- Responsible for ensuring Permit to Work process is followed and adhered before it is approved
- Responsible for compliance to all Procedures, Routines, Logs and other Operational Processes
- Responsible for providing technical support during pre-commissioning/commissioning and start-up
- Work closely with the Maintenance Team to resolve day-to-day Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer problems
- Work with Maintenance Team to supervise and implement the works according to the schedule and requirements
- Support process improvement, productivity and reliability projects
- Able to identify the different types of instrument cables and work according to the specifications
- Basic Knowledge about different types of control valves/Field transmitters-construction and
- maintenance.
- Must be familiar with test equipment like Multimeter, Loop calibrator, Pressure calibrator etc., Able to troubleshoot the instrument loop problems.
- Able to work long hours during emergencies to complete the work.
- Attend to emergency call-out and provide night-shift support during plant start-up and shut-down period
- Accountable for the supervision and execution of day to day Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer maintenance activities including PM / CM
- Accountable for the planning, supervision and execution of maintenance and TAR Electrical, Instrument and Analyzer activities
- Responsible for pre-comm & commissioning activities for new projects
- Participate in audits (internal & external) and accountable in closing corrective action items
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigation and accountable in closing action items
- Appointed as acting Site Supervisor when situation arises
- Any other day to day operational matters as required
Requirements
- At least 3 years Operational experience with demonstrable exposure to process plant operations and site-based activity or equivalent.
- 5 years E&I experience in Chemical Process Plant.
