Established more than 30 years ago, the healthcare provider is a Singapore-based Community Hospital that offers subsidized rehabilitative and sub-acute services to both adult and pediatric patients following their initial treatment phase at a general hospital.
The Hospital is dedicated to maintaining a rigorous level of adherence that includes accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, corporate governance, and auditing standards. As a Community Hospital, they strive to provide exceptional healthcare services with a team of highly skilled and professional doctors, supported by experienced nursing and paramedic staff.
The Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Foster collaboration with both functional and technical teams to implement and maintain applications essential across various service units within the institution
- Support business requirements and project deliverables
- Streamline processes and leverage on technology and automation to achieve operational effectiveness and improve productivity
- Key point of contact on application enhancements, implementations, and system support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
- Collaborate closely with teams, end-users, and vendors to deliver IT application system enhancements/projects within budget, timeline, and quality parameters
- Keep up-to-date on IT trends and technological development, assessing new technologies/solutions for suitability and providing recommendations for potential adoption
- Maintain system documentation, including policies & procedures, user manuals, and system configurations
- Any other IT duties as assigned
The Requirements:
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of IT experience in Healthcare IT is preferred
- Experienced in implementing projects and interacting with stakeholders and vendors
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Team player and able to work well with other team members
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and IT teams
- Experience with Healthcare information systems such as Electronic Medical Records and other clinical applications is a bonus
