Job Description
As a Senior/Procurement Specialist, the individual will be purchasing and managing the business's manufacturing category.
Responsibilities include:
- Procurement of Machinery and various Parts for the business's manufacturing plant.
- Establish and develop strong supplier management to ensure business goals are met.
- Oversee the contract management and negotiation for various categories.
- Ensure PO orders and prices are accurate and issued accordingly.
The Successful Applicant
- Individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or any relevant discipline is a plus.
- More than 4 years of experience in procurement is a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing plant environment is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills and SAP background is a plus.
- Experience reading technical/mechanical drawings is highly advantageous.
- Strong negotiator with supplier management background is a plus.
