Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that security tools and technologies are deployed in the current environment in line with architectural
- Develop and maintain Baseline Security Standards (BSS) for servers, databases, network devices and monitoring tools
- Coordinate maintenance of security-related systems (Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Content filtering, Intrusion Prevention, Vulnerability Management tools, Client VPN, MFA etc.) Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise
- Configure and test network security appliances (e.g., Firewall, Link Encryptors)
- Attend weekly teleconferences, meetings, and participates in working groups, as related to constant changing security environment
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and guides for new and/or existing security solution implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in area of IT security and network domains
- Have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security operations
- Experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Hands-on experience in security monitoring, network diagnostic, network analytics and network security devices
- Good understanding of network systems, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall, and security
