1. Job Description:
- Responsible for the supervision, review and implement the company’s strategies and policies for all business processes in respect to the law, regulations, guidelines and compliance standards
- Advise higher management on business operations relating to compliance, policies, audits, risks and any other relevant matters
- Manage and supervise staff and identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
- Analyse internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards
- Design control systems to address cases of violation of internal business policies
- Develop and document risk management strategies on potential compliance risks
- Conduct documented investigations for non-compliance and provide recommendations to rectify as per the regulatory standards
- Conduct compliance reviews and periodical checks within the organisation and all centres to ensure regulatory requirements are in accordance to the organisation policies and procedures
- Generate compliance reports and manage risk dashboard on a timely manner
- Liaise with departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies
- Establish and carry out proper training programs for staff awareness of laws, regulations and policies
- Prepare and monitor departmental budget and tap on any available governmental grants
- Conduct timely actions to ensure compliance and carry out reviews and investigations to find gaps in the current compliance strategies and rectify them as per the regulatory and organisational requirements
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the CEO and higher management
2. Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Compliance, Law or relevant field
- 3 years of prior experience working as a compliance manager or in a similar position
- Management and leadership skills
- Proficiency in industry trends, laws, and regulations
- Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in risk management and auditing
- Exposure to curating, executing and monitoring compliance systems
3. Work Schedule
5 days work week
Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm
