Job Description
Business Continuity Management (BCM) focuses on mitigating and collaborating with various cross-functional and executive teams to develop and implement plans to anticipate and address the impact on business operations of potential adverse conditions due to various business interruptions.
- Develop and execute a structured plan to create, implement, test, and maintain business continuity and crisis response.
- Bring BCM expertise and best practices into the company.
- Identify critical processes we should focus BCP creation on, to gain business resilience in a phased approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with IT security team to set up the infrastructure required for BCP implementation.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in business continuity and critical threats.
- Manage the wider business continuity program including policies and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 6 years in Business Continuity Management or Business Resilience role
- Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, IT, or a related field
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to business continuity.
- Appreciation of IT infrastructure and IT disaster recovery is required.
- Certifications in business continuity management (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ABCP) will be advantageous.
- Candidates with more years of relevant experience and track record in BCM will be considered for a senior manager position.
