Role
As a Compliance Associate, you will be responsible in managing clientele’s portfolio and providing corporate secretarial support for relevant company legislation and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Handling a full suite of corporate secretarial duties which will include incorporation of Singapore companies (private limited, company limited by guarantee etc.) and filing documents with ACRA
- Assist in data collection from clients for the purpose of conducting compliance review
- Utilising screening applications to perform due diligence checks on background checks for prospective and current clients
- Continued evaluation of files to make sure adequate compliance reviews. Maintain accurate and organised records of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions. Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Performing routine tasks to assist the team in maintaining compliance files and records in order to become familiar with the relevant regulatory and record keeping requirements
- Assist in the development, review, and update of compliance policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current regulations and best practices
- Participate in risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of statutory documents such as board resolutions and minutes
- Ability to handle high volume of requests
- Ability to act as key liaison between the clients and the organisation to fulfil duties required
- Assist with any ad hoc tasks by Service Lead(s) such as providing guidance on the requirements and processes for the due diligence documentation that Banks and Authorities need
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or other related courses. Candidate with relevant professional certification will be considered favourably.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Positive attitude, with a desire to extend existing skillset and use initiative to solve problems
