About Our Client

Our Client is a prominent company recognized for its extensive global presence and contribution to the shipping industry. Known for their comprehensive range of shipping services, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Logistics Project Manager to be based at their HQ in Singapore.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Explore and integrate technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer value proposition
  • Develop and optimize logistics systems and processes to streamline operations globally
  • Spearhead the implementation of new logistics projects
  • Identify operational pain points, risks, and challenges, and propose digital solutions for resolution.
  • Stay abreast of technology trends, recommending latest technologies in improving logistics activities
  • Manage comprehensive project schedules and effective planning
  • Collaborate with IT department to ensure seamless system implementations
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project strategies
  • Utilize analytical methods and tools to track KPIs and report on supply chain performance, enabling better understanding, prediction, and control of logistics operations

The Successful Applicant

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business or Information Technology related field and experience in global logistics operations/business transformation. You must possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities. It is essential that you have experience with system implementation and is well-versed with supply chain processes.
