- Negotiation for local and foreign performing artists.
- Scheduling performing events, promotional appearances, programs etc.
- Advocating for performing artists' mental and physical health as needed.
- Handling interpersonal conflicts between artists, example band members.
- Arrange trainings for songs and dances.
- Enforcing the terms of contracts.
An Artist Manager must be an expert on the ins and outs of the music business. Capable Artist Manager do what they can to make their role successful. They possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, public relation skills, marketing and advertising skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills, and basic computer skills. Artist managers must be independent, self driven, friendly, and believer of strong team work.
