Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager, Fundraising & Relationship Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with media, donors,volunteers and partner companies to raise awareness of our organization and more donations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children affected by cancer.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with donors, ensuring effective communication and stewardship.
• Manage a portfolio of key donors, providing personalized attention and engagement to enhance their connection with the organization.
• Plan and oversee fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives, leveraging relationships for increased participation.
• Utilize donor management systems to track, analyze, and report on donor interactions, contributions, and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and messages that resonate with donors.
• Provide leadership and guidance to fundraising staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Research and identify potential funding sources, grants, and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on fundraising progress for senior management and board members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in fundraising, donor relations, and relationship management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in fundraising, donor management, and relationship management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong donor relationships.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing fundraising strategies.
• Proficiency in using donor management systems and related software.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
