Job Role
- The Head of Home is responsible for the overall management of the Home’s operational needs and complying with the regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall supervision, control and discipline of staff
- Perform strategic planning for effective running of the Home within the Management’s policy and keeping abreast with current trends
- Ensures up-to-date records, documentations and administration
- Maintains the residents’ personal files and ensure their well-being
- Responsible for the management of the Home’s budget
- Furnish the Management regularly with progress reports, strategic plans and programme updates
- Close liaison with the law enforcement, healthcare providers, community centres, HDB, welfare homes, Management Committee and other related agencies.
- To support PERTAPIS Headquarters and inter-departmental initiatives by planning deployment for events and fundraising projects.
Requirements
- Minimum degree, preferably in social work or psychology, or equivalent
- Min. 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of basic IT (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- Good interpersonal and communication skill (oral and written)
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
