Responsibilities:
- Develop and design IC sockets and components, utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks and NX-Ideas to create and modify drawings based on NBO/NTO.
- Measure and verify IC sockets and parts, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with customer packages, and provide technical support to the Sales Department as necessary.
- Collaborate with vendors and production teams to address manufacturing issues, conducting quality checks on assembly and piece parts while designing jigs for quality assessments.
- Perform FEA (Mechanical & Thermal), Signal Integrity simulation, and Tolerance analysis using tools like SolidWorks and Ansys, and attend offsite meetings, seminars, trade shows, and conventions as required.
- Communicate regularly with various departments, management, customers, and assigned factories, and prepare and present comprehensive reports to internal departments and customers, showcasing design progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- 2 years of IC Socket Design Experience
- Candidates must possess strong visual acuity, including close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus. This role requires the capability to read and analyze data both in hard copy and on a computer screen, as well as the ability to measure or identify using eyesight.
- Comfortable to travel overseas when required.
