Job Description
IFSAM is in the business of fund management. It raises capital from investors to invest in private loans. If you have 5 years of lending experience in the SME segment, this is an excellent opportunity to learn about the operation and administration of a collective fund and launch a career in fund management.
If selected, and subject to approval by the regulator, you will be licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a representative of IFSAM, to invest in loans. As part of on-the-job training, you will learn how to manage a fund, onboard investors and assist in raising capital.
Lenders with experience in lending to large corporates in Singapore may also apply.
Responsibilities:
- Source for prospective borrowers, ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Actively manage clients’ needs and objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial and qualitative analysis on companies.
- Conduct risk management analysis of various types of lending proposals
- Ensure all security documents are in order prior to disbursement.
- Perform annual credit review.
- Collaborate with fund administrator and perform fund-related administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with compliance company to fulfil all compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree with at least 5 years of relevant credit work experience in loans to SMEs.
- Strong acquisition skills with the ability to excel under pressure.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate effectively with various internal departments ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.
- Possess strong analytical skills to assess the creditworthiness of SME borrowers.
- Team player, pro-active and results oriented.
- Exposure to corporate lending/credit will be considered a valuable advantage.
- Ability to raise capital from High-Net-Worth individuals and corporations would be an added advantage.
