Regional Business Development and Sales Executive
Travel Requirements: Extensive regional travel is a prerequisite for this position.
Position Overview
Advanced Flavors & Fragrances invites qualified candidates to apply for the role of Sales Manager/Executive. This full-time, on-site position is an integral component of our organization's expansion strategy. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a sales roadmap, aimed at revenue growth and market expansion for our premium range of flavors.
Responsibilities
Strategic Initiatives
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and new market entries.
- Develop strategic plans for sales and business development.
Sales Operations
- Manage and oversee the sales pipeline from initial client engagement to contract finalization.
- Meet and exceed established sales targets.
Client Engagement
- Be the voice and face of our brand, initiating first contacts with prospective clients through cold calls, social media, and industry events.
Account Management
- Cultivate relationships with existing and new clients.
- Develop client-specific solutions in consultation with R&D and Production departments.
Data Analysis
- Utilize data analytics tools for trend analysis and sales forecasting.
- Provide actionable business insights through comprehensive reporting.
Team Management
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication and collaboration.
Financial Oversight
- Prepare, administer, and adhere to the departmental budget.
- Present sales forecasts and revenue projections to executive management.
Client Retention
- Implement effective customer relationship management strategies that result in high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Continuous Improvement
- Institute processes for ongoing business and operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role; experience in the flavor or fragrance industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM software.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
