About Our Client
Our Client is a prominent company recognized for its extensive global presence and contribution to the shipping industry. Known for their comprehensive range of shipping services, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Senior/Executive, Cargo Logistics/Transport Pricing to be based at their HQ in Singapore.
Job Description
You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage space allocation to optimize vessel space utilization and enhance trade service profitability.
- Facilitate coordination with agents and internal/external stakeholders regarding trade services and vessel positions.
- To monitor transshipment cargo space utilization, and assess agents' performance efficiency.
- Review and coordinate container stock management activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or Business Administration related field and experience in commercial work in the shipping industry. You must possess strong analytical, negotiation and reporting capabilities; with the ability to work independently and as a team in a multi-level and fast-paced organization.
