Job Description:
- As regional head of Metals & Minerals Group, to contribute expansion of Metals & Minerals related business (coal/cokes/nickel/iron ore/iron ore pellets/steel scrap/aluminum raw materials/aluminum products etc) by managing GMs and their staffs in ITOCHU's regional offices located in Asia & Oceania (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Phillipines and Australia)
- To enhance business skills and capabilitis of GMs and their staffs by on-site and/or remote communications.
Job Requirements:
- Building up clear, consistent and sustainable strategies in Metals & Minerals business segment.
- Excellent communication skills including proven ability to effectively convey information and ideas clearly in both written and verbal means to Management, Group staffs, Clients and Vendors in Asia & Oceania Bloc.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain good relationship with Management, Superior, Subordinates and local/overseas counterparts.
- Challenging, open minded, sensitive and able to work in multicultural environment.
- Problem-solving and analytics skills with demonstrated ability to identify and define problems, extract key information from clients/vendors, verify cause of problem and develop feasible solutions to resolve problems identified.
- Capability of coaching and motivating Group staffs for better performance and contributions.
- Excellent ability to converse in business Japanese language to liaise with Japanese counterparts in the region and Japan HQ (at least, holding JLPT N1 level).
