TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and develop overall learning and development initiatives for both the short and long term needs of the business
  • Identify training needs and formulate the training plan / schedule
  • Identify, design and organize external and internal training programs
  • Familiar with TP gateway portal
  • Manage in-house and external training-related activities, such as course registrations and withdrawals, application and claim for training grants, current training records, logistical arrangements, and invoicing as well as training evaluation.
  • Identify, recommend, and assess training vendors for both internal and external training.
  • Handle learning calendar communication and employee’s participation.
  • Ensure that all training grant and absentee payroll claims are filed with the respective government entities SSG/MOM applications are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Gather and analyze data from post-course evaluations.
  • Manage the organization's training bonds, internships, and scholarships.
  • Assist in the coordination of employee engagement activities.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned.
  • Perform other job-related duties as and when requested by superiors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Candidate must possess an ACLP/ACTA certificate
  • Candidate must possess an ACWSH/SDWSH certificate
  • Experience in working with Learning & Development
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player, possess a high level of initiative, hands on, organized and resourceful
  • Good initiative, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Meticulous and attention to details
