Job Summary:
The IT Senior Manager for Global Operations will lead and manage all aspects of our company's information technology and computer systems for entities outside of China. This role is critical in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure, support services, and project delivery, supporting business objectives and ensuring the security of company information. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing IT operations in a multinational environment, with a proven track record of leading global teams, optimizing IT processes, and delivering IT solutions that drive business success for America, APAC and EMEA regions
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Planning: Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company's business goals and group IT strategy, including technology roadmaps, budget planning, and investment priorities for regions outside China.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a diverse, global IT team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing culture. Ensure team skill development and manage performance across different regions.
- IT Operations Management: Oversee the IT infrastructure, including data centers, network operations, helpdesk support, and application support outside of China. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT services.
- Project Management: Lead and manage key IT projects, including system implementations, migrations, and upgrades, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers on a global scale. Negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of services meets quality and performance standards.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of IT systems and data, including adherence to international regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT services and processes. Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on business operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role, preferably in a global context.
- Proven experience leading global IT teams and managing large-scale IT projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and ITIL best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions based on data.
- Fluent in English, with additional languages being an advantage.
