About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager holds the responsibility for delivering services to customers in alignment with contractual commitments. Leading a team of engineers with diverse technological and domain skillsets, the Snr Project Manager ensures the effective and efficient development, implementation, and continuous operations and maintenance of projects to meet contractual obligations. This involves managing stakeholders, internal project teams, subcontractors/vendors, as well as overseeing time, budget, schedule, and risk to fulfill our commitments to customers. In the context of development projects, the Snr Project Manager is anticipated to possess knowledge of the SDLC methodology necessary to guide the implementation process. Additionally, the incumbent is expected to collaborate with other functional groups such as finance, legal, PMO, and procurement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop implementation strategies to achieve key project milestones, including delivery, tests, and payment goals.
- Create Project Management Plans, incorporating risk management practices for effective project management and delivery.
- Ensure the delivery of projects and products meets the required quality standards. Oversee testing and technical governance in alignment with internal standards and contractual obligations.
- Manage and forecast project financials to ensure project profitability.
- Lead and manage project team members, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve on-schedule and cost-effective project delivery while meeting requirements.
- Manage vendors, including procurement and contract management, ensuring alignment with customer obligations and prudent mitigation of gaps.
- Initiate, organize, and attend project meetings with customers, keeping project teams fully informed about progress, tasks, action plans, and deadlines.
- Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues, risks, dependencies, and impediments that may impact successful project delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely project progress reporting to all stakeholders and project teams.
- Practice effective stakeholder management to set the right expectations throughout the project.
- Stay informed about relevant technological developments to enhance effectiveness in the role.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Possess over 7 years of experience in Project Management of large-scale projects, with preferred technical knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/AX, .Net, Java, J2EE, Application Servers, Databases, etc.
- Demonstrate a customer-oriented and team player mindset, effectively leading and motivating team members towards common objectives.
- Be a self-starter capable of working under pressure and tight schedules, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude to anticipate challenges and resolve issues.
- Exhibit strong competency and experience in managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Project or other project management reporting tools.
- Preferably hold certifications in Project Management, such as PMP and CITPM, and certifications in Agile, such as Scrum master or PMI Agile.
- Possess effective communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
