Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, 5.25-day work week

The Position

Reporting to the Head, Sales & Marketing, the successful candidate is part of the Sales & Marketing/Development team and is actively involved in Sales Ops/Planning and Account Development of the market and channels in Singapore to regions and beyond. Some key requirements of this role are as follows:

  • Be responsible for the Sales performance and alignment of revenue and commercial operations. Drive Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success and service.
  • Work with the Sales Team to ensure the interactive alignment between the departments. Thus driving and ensuring the key Sales / Business initiatives are meeting plans.
  • To build and manage Sales & Marketing/Business Development across B2B and B2C markets and alignment with marketing and commercial strategies.
  • Develop new targeted clients across the different markets and know that Company’s Roadmap to the market is still not developed. This hands-on role requires you to build processes and teams from scratch while driving revenue goals in the short term.

Responsibilities

  1. Work with the Head, Sales & Marketing, to clarify and reinforce the Company’s business plan and re-confirm and provide recommendations to the Business Model.
  2. Work to optimize existing revenue models and create new revenue streams by developing commercial and business development strategies optimized for both short-term results and long-term strategy.
  3. Create accountability within the Sales team by developing appropriate KPIs and coordinating compensation and promotions with these KPIs Business Development.
  4. Drive business development & its operational imperative to establish a strategic value in the supply chain via a global eco-system from farm to the plate for everyone and everywhere.
  5. Work to seize and seize the opportunities, determine key sales development segments and priorities, building and refining the business development plan.
  6. Coordinate and drive new business revenues from ready-to-eat, ready to cook and other potential food meals
  7. Generate and qualify new product range as above and be resourceful in using multiple approaches to penetrate the accounts.
  8. Build a team to execute opening and closing deals end-to-end including outreach, pitching, solution development, building internal and external alignment, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
  9. Build consensus and lead the team to consistently deliver on sales targets.
  10. Drive strong partner interest and top-of-funnel pipeline, maintain a healthy sales cycle and conversion funnel of new opportunities based on sales targets.
  11. Own and cultivate meaningful and deep relationships with key partners, develop a deep understanding of care and customer needs, requirements, and macro market trends, identify influence, and develop contacts at the highest appropriate levels within target prospects.
  12. Build a deep understanding of customer needs for sustainable food fish and promotion to the effect.
  13. Define and improve customer focus workflows to manage, e-tracking, and engage all leads, prospects, and online customers via technology tools and internal systems as well as to enable successful sales to order.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales and Business Development Executive in the seafood, fresh food, and related industries.
  • Proven track record in developing both traditional and e-Commerce businesses and marketplace.
  • Strong Sales acumen with experience in breaking down complex problems into digestible actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and track key levers in the business/products.
  • Excellent Sales management skills with past success in related functions.
  • Proven track record in managing and persevering effectively in an environment of change.
  • Unquestionable integrity with a strong drive for results.
  • Detailed, hands-on, and yet has the strategic capability to think and plan ahead.
  • Possesses drive, energy, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven working experience in leading business development or commercial operations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Marketing, Management, or related discipline.
  • Experience in F&B sales, FMCG related preferred.
  • Strong drive, read sales trends rapidly and quick-to-sieze market opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven with high-quality sales-mindedness and a strong analytical mind.
  • Sound knowledge of sales terms and contractual matters.
  • Familiar with MS365 and IT environment.
  • Possess a Class 3 driving licence.
  • Able to start work immediately or with short notice.
  • Willing to work on alternate Saturdays.
