Operations Manager is instrumental in bringing support and growth in the business and has a significant influence in motivating team spirit and retail excellence among the team. Responsible for day-to-day store effective operations, including sales staff management, product/inventory management, retail/customer experience excellence and sales performance monitoring. Ensuring retail sales team excel in executing daily operations standards of the boutique(s) in an efficient customer-centric way, reinforce and up-keep the high standards of excellent in-store experience and client service on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Operations and Boutique(s) Management
- Responsible for supporting the boutique(s) to ensure smooth daily operations, boutique in-store excellence, operational administrative responsibilities and effective planning to achieved corporate sales objectives and targets.
- Responsible and work closely with boutique/sales managers to uphold excellent customer and boutique service standards, including store environment, visual merchandising displays and sales/product presentation process.
- To facilitate all marketing, events and promotional activities.
- Ensure operational and security procedures (inventory, POS, compliance, etc) are strictly adhered for the effectiveness of daily operations compliances.
- Enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
2. Business Planning and Development
- Leading retail team to acquire new clients and maintain/build customer relationship with existing clients.
- Monitoring and analysis of sales performance and propose action plans to achieve key performance objectives.
- Improve operating process, best practice sharing and knowledge transfer to delivery a highly dedicated retail sales team.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and monitor local competitors’ activities.
3. Team/People Management
- Collaborate with boutique/sales managers to recruit, groom, mentor and motivate retail team towards corporate strategic and operational objectives.
- Collaborate with boutique/sales managers to motivate retail team to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and plan sales team training needs and requirements.
- Clearly communicate and disseminate corporate objectives, action plan and necessary information to the retail team for proper execution.
Requirements:
This role is highly relationship-driven and requires a responsive, consultative and eye-for-details professional with proven experience of building successful stakeholder relationships. Demonstrate experience in managing, motivating and driving the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience in luxury industry (watch/jewellery is highly preferred).
