Job Description
The National University of Singapore invites applications for position of Research machine learning method in biomedical data science in the Centre for Innovation & Precision Eye Health, and Department of Ophthalmology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Appointments will be made on a 1-year contract basis in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.
Purpose of the post
The candidate is expected to have extensive experience in machine learning, trained in a world-leading university, deep knowledge in machine learning based reasoning, planning and abstract representation for biomedical sciences. In addition, In addition, the candidate should be interested in applying these techniques to improve healthcare and biomedical sciences. The candidate is expected to publish in top tier AI conferences or machine learning/medicine journals.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Develop self-supervised learning method for biomedical sciences.
- Develop pipeline to adapted machine learning methods developed into medical practices.
- Improve machine learning method to discover scientific insights autonomously
Qualifications
- PhD from a top ranked university in the word
- Strong publication record in machine learning
- Demonstrated interest in medical and biological applications
Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
