Role Responsibilities
We are currently looking to hire a Pastry Cook.
This is a full-time on-site role based in our Bakery Kitchen in Robertson Quay, Singapore. Working with the Head Chef and Chef De Partie (Pastry), you will be working on the production bakes for our Pastries range, in coordination with our outlets and events.
- This job may involve early morning shift work.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the bakery kitchen
- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients, ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, when needed.
- Communicating with outlets and events team to ensure smooth fulfilment of orders and handling of products.
- Coordinate all the pastry and bakery preparation and production with the CDP
- To ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen rotation of the stock is maintained
- To ensure a smooth handover of Bakery operations between shifts
- Help to R&D new product with the support of the Cost Controller and CDP
- Plan the pipeline for Bakery items across the outlets with the Operations Managers, including when to launch or discontinue items.
Job Requirements
- Min 2 years experience in similar capacity
- Experience with Indonesian or Nyonya pastries is a plus
- Experience with all aspects of pastry & dessert making is a plus
- Positive professional attitude
